Saptashrungi

The Saptshrungi Garh is a holy place situated approximately at a distance of 60 KM from Nashik. According to the mythology, it is an abode of Goddess Bhagawati. Innumerable travelers and pilgrims visit Saptshrungi every year. The name Saptshrungi means seven mountain pinnacles. There are around 108 water reservoirs on this Mountain, which are known as Kundas and it is one of the popular places to visit in Nashik. One of the events from the legendary Ramayana states that Hanuman carried the herbal medicine for wounded Laxmana from this hill. The best time to visit this place is after the monsoon season. It is not only a divine destination but also a picnic spot.

Ramkund

A sacred bathing ghat in Nashik, Ramkund is situated at the bank of the Godavari River. The place is considered to be the holiest place in Nashik and is surrounded with folklores and various mythological stories. Every year, thousands of Hindus visit the Kund to pray and take bath.

Sula Vineyard

A fine winery and vineyard Located in the beautiful city of Nashik, the Sula Vineyard is the very first winery established in the city and it is one of the famous places to visit in Nashik. Dudhsagar Falls, also known as Someshwar Falls, is one of the most captivating Nashik tourist places that you can visit.Just 9 km away from Nashik Central Bus Station, the waterfall has a height of 10 meters. Best time to visit the Dudhsagar Falls is during monsoon, when everything around the place becomes more beautiful and attractive. Dudhsagar Waterfall is a popular hangout in the area and is one of the most common places to visit in Nashik.

Pandavleni Caves

All you adventurous and thrill-seeking people, an enthralling experience awaits at the Pandavleni caves in Nashik. If you like mountaineering and trekking then you have to tread the trail towards these caves, as they are situated on a hammock. Located at a height of approximately 300 ft, amidst a thick green forest, these caves also make a perfect destination for peace lovers and nature admirers and it is one of the best places to visit in Nashik. If you love to paint, then your canvas will crave to replicate this heavenly panorama. One can visit these caves from 8 AM to 5.30 PM. Adults have to pay a certain amount as an entry fee, but children below 15 can explore the caves for free.

Sita Gumpha

If you are an explorer intrigued by the Indian ancient legends, then the Sita Gumpha is one of the places to visit in Nashik. It is situated near the Kalaram Temple, where Sita expressed her devotion for Lord Shiva. The Sita Gumpha that is also known as Sita Gupha attracts innumerable devotees every year. It is well known for its significant role in Indian epic Ramayana. According to mythology, King Ravana had kidnapped Sita from here. Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Mandir

Shri Trimbakeshwar is a religious center having one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The extraordinary feature of the Jyotirlinga located here is its three faces embodying Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Due to the excessive use of water, the linga has started to erode.How Long Does it Take for Darshan to be in Trimbakeshwar? It depends upon the occasion if there is any festival then you have to wait around 2 to 3 hours in the line. But on normal days it takes hardly 15 to 20 minutes

Harihar Fort

Harihar fort was built during the Seuna (Yadava) dynasty period. It was surrendered to Khan Zamam in 1636 along with Trymbak and other Pune forts.[1] The fort was captured by Captain Briggs[2] in 1818 along with 17 other forts. There are two base villages of the fort, Harshewadi and Nirgudpada. The Harshewadi is 13 km from Trymbakeshwar. The other base village of the fort is Nirgudpada/Kotamvadi which is 40 km from Ghoti which itself is 48 km from Nashik and 121 km from Mumbai. One can travel from Ghoti to Trimbakeshwar by bus or by private vehicle.

Anjaneri Fort

As per the Hindu mythology, Anjaneri is the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. Situated at 4264 feet above sea level, Anjaneri hills hosts a beautiful fort which is famous amongst the hikers and can be reached via Anjaneri village. Anjaneri Fort Trek is an easy difficulty level. However, there are a few boulder sections that require good fitness. Hence, a fit beginner can do this trek.

Ganga Ghat

Ganga Ghat is a holy and religious destination located in Nashik on the banks of the holy river Godavari which is second largest river of India. People believes that bathing here in Ganga Ghat will cleanse all your sins. This is the reason thousand's of devotees daily comes here and takes a dip in its water. Dashashwamedh Ghat is located close to the Vishwanath Temple and is the most popular ghat. According to legend, Brahma performed ten Ashwamedha sacrifices here. Every evening an aarti is performed at this ghat in dedication to Shiva, the goddess Ganga, Surya, Agni, as well as the whole universe.
