Dhamma Ashok Chakra Buddha Vihar

Also known as Dhamma Chakra Stupa, Deekshabhoomi is a holy monument that is located some 5 kms south west of Nagpur city. Deekshabhoomi is known for the large Buddhist Stupa that was located inside its premises.

Shri Ram Temple & Fort

Ramtek hosts a historic temple of Rama. It is believed that Ramtek was the place where Rama, the Hindu god, rested while he was in exile, Hence it is named Ramtek. According to Hindu history, the ashram of the Hindu sage Agastya was situated close to Ramtek. This place is also related to the Sanskrit poet Kalidasa. It is believed that Kalidasa wrote Meghadūta in the hills of Ramtek.

Lata Mangeshkar Garden

Lata Mangeshkar's death is a heavy loss for the entire nation. The singing legend passed away on February 6. People of her ancestral village, Mangeshi, mourned her death. The Goa village is famous for the Mangeshi Temple, which has the idol of Lord Mangesh - family deity of Lata Mangeshkar and her family. Celebrities too were spotted outside her home as they reached to pay their last respect to the star. The first one to reach Anupam Kher, Javed Akhtar, Bhagyashree, Amitabh Bachchan and Shraddha Kapoor.

Ambazari Lake

Ambazari lake is situated near the Southwest border of Nagpur, in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is one of the 11 lakes in Nagpur and is the largest lake in the city. The Nag River of Nagpur originates from this lake. This was built in the year 1870, under Bhonsle rule, for supplying water to the city.

Maharaj Bagh Zoo

Maharajbagh zoo is the central zoo of Nagpur, India. The zoo is located in the heart of the city and has been built on the garden of the Bhonsle and Maratha rulers of the city. The zoo comes under the Central Zoo Authority of India and is maintained by the Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth of Nagpur

Dragon Palace

The Dragon Palace Temple, also known as the Lotus Temple of Nagpur, is a Buddhist temple in Kamptee, Maharashtra, India. The temple was established in 1999 with funds from the Japan-based Ogawa Society, a charitable trust The Dragon Palace Temple was founded in 1999 on land purchased by Sulekha Kumbhare and Noriko Ogawa. Kumbhare was at the time serving as the mayor of Kamptee, while Ogawa was the president of a Japanese company with business connections in the area.[1] Ogawa was also the head of the Ogawa Foundation, a charitable trust that contributed to Buddhist charitable causes. The foundation envisioned the Dragon Palace Temple as both a place for Buddhist education and meditation, as well as a symbol of Indo-Japanese friendship.[3][2] This original plot of 10 acres was expanded by 40 acres in 2003

Ramtek

Ram Jhula, Nagpur

The Ram Jhula consists of two parallel cable-stayed railway over-bridges in Nagpur, India. The 606.74 metres long bridge crosses the railway tracks north of Nagpur Junction railway station. The Blue Line of the Nagpur Metro runs along the centre of the bridge on the eastern side The MSRDC began work in 2006 by building a three-lane cable-stayed bridge parallel to the old bridge. The bridge was built by Afcons, a subsidiary of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group.[4] As per the plan, the old bridge would be demolished once the parallel bridge was open to traffic following which a second three-lane bridge would be built, bringing the total number of lanes to six.[5] However, a dispute arose between MSRDC and the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MahaMetro) over the alignment of the Blue Line of the Nagpur Metro. MahaMetro sought permission to build the metro between the two bridges but the MSRDC refused. In 2016, the Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court asked Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to resolve the matter.[6] Subsequently, MSRDC and MahaMetro agreed to integrate the two structures. The last 200 metres (660 ft) of the second bridge would be built by the latter with two levels with the metro at the upper level before proceeding towards the railway statio
